Dog Walking
For friendly, socialised dogs with no special needs and some basic training. Walking time includes games for mental and physical stimulation appropriate for your dog. Where possible we also give some basic training in 'manners' such as not rushing through open doors, not 'mugging' for treats and returning to the walker when requested. Walks can be on or off-lead.
When a time is given for dog walking, this is an approximate time and the walk may commence 30 minutes before or after the booked time.
A note about untrained dogs: While each dog is a much loved family pet, group walks are not a training facility and we have to ensure the comfort and safety of the other dogs in the group as well as the Dog Walker's safety. This means we cannot walk dogs with any tendencies that may disrupt the walk or interfere with other park users. If the dogs do not have a reasonable recall they will be walked on a lead for all or part of the walk. They must walk without excessive pulling, or the owner should supply a device such as a head collar or anti-pull harness to prevent pulling.
Note about gastric torsion (GDV or 'bloat'). Certain breeds are more prone to this than other dogs, however, to be sure, dogs will not be fed during the same visit as an off-lead run or other vigorous exercise.

Puppy Package
Preparing your puppy with skills for life. We can work on any training you are doing, as well as teaching some basic manners and the basis for a solid, lifelong recall.
We visit a minimum of two half hour sessions each day up to around 5-7 months. Puppies under 8 weeks old are not accepted. Up to 12 weeks puppies can be visited three times a day.
Between 5 and 7 months, Puppy can move to a one hour session (either with a compatible group or solo). Once inoculated and adequately prepared, puppies will be walked for roughly five minutes per month of life per session until 12 months old.

Home Visits / Cat Sitting / Cat Feeding
Visits are twice daily (for some pets we may be able to do one visit, but most animals will require two). I will feed and ensure fresh water, clear up waste, clean equipment, give some playtime, attention and cuddles where needed, and any other duties you request. Visits are usually between 6am and 10am, and 5pm and 8pm. Visits before 6am or after 8pm are possible, but will be quoted for based on individual needs.
There are no extra charges for multiple pets, but we must have time to be able to give each pet quality care so the appropriate time will be spent in the home and charged for. This will be discussed and agreed at the initial consultation.

I have previously owned or looked after: rabbits, rats, hamsters, gerbils, tropical fish, budgies, love birds and cats. Piranhas, snakes, spiders, axolotls and reptiles are some examples of animals I am prepared to take on as family members have owned them so I have some knowledge. Ferrets, chinchillas, chipmunks are all pets I would love to own but circumstances prevent me. I would be delighted to take care of your pet for you.
Boarding
If you would prefer I can take your small pets (not cats) into my home and look after them here. They will have company the majority of the day, be able to have some time in my garden, either in a run, their cage outside in a sheltered spot, or some free running space if this is what they are used to. My garden is fully secure and fenced in and not accessible to the public from any road or through an access alley. They will not be left unattended outside.
After the initial consultation you may choose to make an appointment to visit my home to see where your pet will be looked after.
| Boarding | One housing unit | Additional housing units, each |

I may be able to collect and return your pet for a small charge.
